Yellow Pansies

Swedish Mid Century still life depicting a vase of pansies in a sweet copper lustre ware jug. Apples surround the vase, a nod to the fruit and flower symbolism of historic still life painting. Pansies are a rather unusual choice for botanical art which adds to the attraction of this piece.
