Swedish Bird Prints

We have a collection of these Olof Rudbeck the Younger's bird prints of original 18th  century watercolours.

Olof was a Swedish scientist, botanist, and ornithologist, 1660 -1740.  He was Professor of Medicine at Uppsala University and In 1695, he travelled to Lapland to join an expedition commissioned by the King.  These are from a facsimile edition printed in the 1980's by publisher René Coeckelbergh. 

Priced individually in a wide range of varying sizes. They look wonderful on their own but are spectacular as a collection!
