Tree Over the Town

Expressive, Modernist painting of a bare tree with the colourful houses of a town in the background. The artist chose an unusual composition for this piece, with the geometric branches of the tree at the forefront of the image, taking up the entire frame.

Signed Gösta Bohm (1890-1981), a Swedish artist whose work is held at the Moderna Museet and the National Museum in Stockholm.
