Signed Bertil Berntsson, 1921-2002, dated '53. Berntsson is widely held in Swedish museums and is one of several Swedish artists who studied in Paris under André Lhote.

Oil on board in a vintage wood frame. Please note some areas of missing paint as pictured. (This may have been deliberate as it skilfully models the model's legs.)
