Unusual Swedish painting of two trolls on a hillside with pine trees, under a blue sky. Trolls are key figures in Nordic folklore who live in rocky mountains and caves. 

Attributed to Verner Molin, 1907-1980, known for his playful and fantastical abstract paintings.

Oil on board in a substantial ornate vintage wood frame. Please note some damage to the bottom right corner of the frame.
