Trees by the Mediterranean

Large and evocative vintage painting of the Mediterranean coast. The umbrella pines cling to the hot red rocks of the Esterel coast on the right and the deep azur sea stretches out in the middle of the piece. The sea is slightly choppy with little white horses on the waves and two bathers player tentatively at the edge of the beach. There is a little yacht sailing towards the mountains in the hazy far distance.

Oil on canvas in distressed vintage gilt frame. There is  paint missing on the frame; this is no way detracts from the vintage charm of this painting but please make sure you are aware and happy with it.
