Bar on the Corner

Charming and detailed Swedish painting of a bar on a street corner of Paris. The artist captures the hustle and bustle of the city through their application of paint; notice the blur of the bicycle wheels of the figure on the right.

Signed Bertil Wahlberg (1923-1980), an artist who based his artworks on his travels throughout Europe to places such as France, Italy, and Greece. A successful artist in his time, his works can be found in the Moderna Museet in Stockholm and the Trelleborgs Museum.
