Ingvar Elén 1915-1973 Ingvar studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm from 1933-1937. He was awarded a scholarship which allowed him to travel to Denmark and Norway. He then spent a year in Paris; many of his paintings bear the influence of the Cubists. He is know principally for his landscapes and still lifes.
