Attributed to Carl Berndtsson 1902-1983, unsigned. A self-taught artist from Southern Sweden Berndtsson made study trips to England, France and unusually South Africa.
A lovely landscape in soft muted greens and blues, enlivened with touches of pinky ochres. The brushwork is strong and confident and is particularly good in the windy sky.
