Tage Gavik 1914-1981 Tage was born and studied in Gothenberg. This bright and warm painting is very characteristic of the work he produced in Southern Spain; the bold brush strokes and the well chosen palette of colours create a feeling of real heat through which the woman walks with her basket on her head.
Oil on canvas, in a very attractive raffia trimmed frame, in good vintage condition measuring 84 x 43 cm.
