Charming painting of a canal in Venice with two bright sailed boats tied up to the quay, and a bridge in the background.

Signed Knut Norman, 1896-1977. Knut studied in Stockholm and Paris, financed by the famous Swedish artist Anders Zorn 1860-1920. He travelled widely in Europe and Africa and is particularly well known for his paintings of Paris and Venice.

Oil on board in a vintage wood and linen frame.
