Gunnar Persson 1908-1975 Gunnar studied in Stockholm and travelled to Italy, Spain and Greece. He exhibited widely in Sweden during his lifetime and is held in several museums there.
Gentle and calm portrait of a young woman in an ultramarine dress. Swedish portraits often have quite sparely detailed faces but nonetheless, as is the case here, give a strong impression of character and life.
